Matthew Feng, M.D. – Indianapolis Eye Doctors
Dr. Feng is a Cornea fellowship-trained surgeon at Price Vision Group. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard and received a full scholarship as a Dean’s Merit Scholar at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He was co-chief resident at the University of Arizona, where he discovered his interests in cornea, cataract, glaucoma, and LASIK surgery.
Dr. Feng has published multiple peer-reviewed journal articles, textbook chapters, and surgical videos. He serves as a peer reviewer for several journals and is an assistant editor for the Digital Manual of Ophthalmic Surgery and Theory. He has spoken at numerous national and international conferences, where his work has received coverage in magazines such as Ophthalmology Times and Euro Times.
Dr. Feng performs all surgeries involving the anterior segment, or front part of the eye, including but not limited to: DMEK, DSAEK, DALK, and PK transplants; cataract surgery with implantation of high definition monofocal lenses, astigmatism-correcting lenses, and advanced technology presbyopia-correcting lenses; LASIK and PRK laser corrective surgery for near-sightedness, far-sightedness, and astigmatism; corneal cross-linking for keratoconus and other corneal ectasia; excisions of pterygia and both benign and malignant eyelid and ocular surface lesions; and glaucoma surgery.
His hobbies include nature photography, travel, in-line skating, and classical piano. Once upon a time, he played at Carnegie Hall. Tragically, Dr. Feng is a rabid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He now resides in Carmel with his wife and two children.
