Laurin is a native of Evansville, Indiana. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. She then attended the University of Evansville where she completed a Master of Physician Assistant Science. Laurin has experience in surgery through working for a general and vascular surgery group in Evansville prior to attending physician assistant school. After graduation in 2021, Laurin joined the Price Vision Group team and is trained to assist with cataract and transplant surgeries, as well as services in the Laser Eye Center, including IPL.

Since moving to Indianapolis, Laurin enjoys walking along the Monon Trail and trying new local restaurants in the area. Laurin loves to travel and enjoys going out west to the mountains to go skiing or snowboarding. She likes to spend her weekends hanging out with family and friends or going to sporting events. She is a huge Colts fan and loves the University of Kansas Basketball.
