If you’re struggling with eye floaters, Price Vision Group in Indianapolis has a solution to help eliminate bothersome eye floaters called Laser Vitreolysis.
Eye Floater Removal (Laser Vitreolysis)

What is Laser Vitreolysis And How Does It Work?

YAG Laser Vitreolysis (laser eye floater removal) is a highly effective, outpatient procedure that involves the use of a nano-pulsed YAG laser to vaporize eye floaters. This procedure has a low complication rate and offers a high degree of patient satisfaction.
Using a special lens placed on the patient’s eye, the doctor focuses a YAG laser onto the front surface of the eye floater. The laser emits a short 3 nanosecond (0.000000003 seconds) burst of energy onto the floater. The laser doesn’t just break the floater into smaller pieces, the focused high power density of the laser energy converts the collagen and hyaluronin molecules of the floater to a gas, which is then re-obsorbed into the eye.
