Join Matthew Feng, MD, and Anjulie Gang, MD as they provide a comprehensive course on endothelial keratoplasty. Topics will include Fuchs’ dystrophy and other causes of endothelial decompensation, DMEK vs. DSO vs. DSEK, transplant rejection and types of rejection, and testing ODs should do when seeing transplant patients (pachy, IOP, etc.).

Additional topics include pros and cons of s-stamp vs. no s-stamp, details on tissue preparation, surgical steps, OCT use during surgery, standard post-op schedule and corticosteroid eye drop protocol, air vs. gas, etc. You will also gain an understanding of the eye bank procedures regarding donor corneal tissue for transplantation.
